[Arabic poems].

Text is a section of a much larger work dealing with Arabic poetics. The poets represented here are primarily Umayyad and ʻAbbasid and date from the ninth to the fourteenth century. The poems are qaṣīdahs. These leaves are probably from a work on poetics or Arabic grammar using poetry as examples of grammatical structures. Included are examples of the work of Ibn al-Muʻtazz, Ibn Hānī, Abū Jaʻfar al-Bayāḍ, Ibn Nubātah, Naṣr Allāh ibn Qalāqis, Ṣafī al-Dīn al-Ḥillī, and Lis̄an al-Dīn ibn al-Khaṭīb.
